ACCOMMODATION AND GUIDED FISHING RATES

Accommodation includes room, breakfast, lunch and a three course dinner featuring local Tasmanian produce.
The Lodge is licensed.
For non-angling partners sharing a room with a guided angler, our rates include accommodation and all meals.
Rates are $600 per room per night in $ Australian. All rates include GST.

Includes guided fishing and tuition, all fishing equipment including flies, hamper style lunch, morning and afternoon tea.

Examples of how to calculate the cost of your trip to Blue Lake Lodge

Example 1.
Two anglers sharing a twin or double room for 4 nights and having 3 days twin share guided fishing.
Cost per angler is as follows:
4 nights accomm/all meals @ $250 per person = $1000 per person
3 days guided fishing @ $360 per day per person = $1080 per person
Total per angler = $2080
Total for 2 anglers = $4160
 
 
Example 2.

One angler sharing a double room with a non-angling partner for 3 nights and having 2 days single guided fishing.
Total cost is as follows:
3 nights double accomm/all meals for angler and non-angler @ $250 per person per night = $750 per person
2 days single guided fishing @ $600 per day = $1200
Total for Angler = $1950 Total for Non-Angler = $750 Total for the whole booking = $2700
 
 
Example 3.

One angler staying in a single room for 5 nights and having 4 days single guided fishing.
Total cost is as follows:
5 nights single accomm/all meals @ $500 = $2500
4 days single guided fishing @ $600 = $2400
Total = $4900
 
 
 
 
Transfer rates
Most of our guests fly into Launceston (1 hour 15 minutes drive) or Hobart (1hr 45 min drive). Transfers from Launceston are $160 one way for up to 3 passengers or $200 for 4 passengers. Transfers from Hobart are $220 one way for up to 6 passengers. Check in from 4.00pm.
 
What to bring
Warm clothes, rain jacket, sunscreen (including lip sunscreen), polarised sunglasses (particularly if you wear prescription glasses), hat, and walking boots (if intending to use the walking trails).

Fishing gear: 5-7 wt 9 foot fly rods, weight forward floating lines, 9-12 foot tapered leaders with 6 pound tippet. We have an excellent range of flies available for sale at the Lodge and a fully equipped fly tying table. All fishing gear including waders and flies can be supplied for guided guests.

Payment Options
The Lodge has EFTPOS facilities for debit and credit cards (AMEX Visa). The Lodge does not have a cash out facility. Cheques and cash are also accepted. Shoudl you cancel your reservation withing 14 days of arrival date, a cancellation fee of 25% will be charged.

Fishing licence
Fishing licences are available at the Lodge.

Getting to Blue Lake Lodge
Blue Lake Lodge is near the south western corner of Arthurs Lake. Drive along Poatina Road B51 and turn on to Arthurs Lake Road C525 (gravel). About 400 metres along Arthurs Lake Road is a small shop, our driveway is 2.9 km past the shop along Arthurs Lake Road. Turn left into our private road. The gate is normally shut and has blue posts and a small Blue Lake Lodge sign. Drive 2km and you will arrive at the lodge.
